DGA Sets New Agreement

Members of the Directors Guild of America have ratified a new two-year collective bargaining agreement with Assn. of Independent Commercial Producers. The DGA made the announcement Thursday. The guild’s national board unanimously approved the contract on Oct. 24. The DGA said the agreement includes salary increases, the adoption of a code of preferred practices on creative rights, and provisions protecting and securing pension and health coverage. It will expire on Oct. 31, 2011.
