Yeah, That “Kerrey Running the MPAA” Thing? Not Happening
Former senator Bob Kerrey will not lead the MPAA. The current president of New York’s New School has decided against taking the job of MPAA head, according to sources familiar with the situation. Hollywood and Washington, D.C. insiders have for weeks hoped for a final decision on whether the political veteran will lead the entertainment industry lobby, but it’s now not going to happen, as Kerrey said, “I think it’s a simple matter of a different view of what the job required.”
