I cancelled my subscription to cable years ago (self-defense in the age of reality TV). I am signed up to Netflix and Hulu and have access to new releases through Zune. So, like every other entertainment writer, I have been meaning to write about “Lilyhammer” this week, but I also discovered “Defying Gravity,” the ill-fated 2009 ABC astronaut show. The tenuous connection between the two is that I found both through entertainment applications, the pertinent difference being that “Lilyhammer” was aimed at a global market and “Defying Gravity” was aimed at a Sunday night ABC audience. The debut of “Lilyhammer” signals the moment when the game changed.
